The 7th International Workshop on Relaxor Ferroelectrics

Here is the preliminary program of the IWRF meeting in Vilnius. Please note that the scientific programme will be held on the 8th-10th of August. An excursion will be organized on Thursday.

The new virtual tour has been prepared by Go Vilnius which allows you to see the inside of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences. In this tour you can see the venue where the IWRF will be held.

The International Workshop on relaxor ferroelectrics is postponed to 2022. After the discussion together with the advisory board it was decided to shift the conference. The new date is 7-13th of August 2022. We expect that in 2022 we will get back to our regular travelling routine. We also hope that it would make the meeting more fruitful and less stressful.

More information about the details of the conference will be announced in September 2021.

After consulting with an international advisory board of IWRF-2020, it was decided to postpone the workshop to the 8-13th of August 2021. The health and safety of the participants is the priority of Local organizing committee.

The meeting venue will not change and the organization will be handled as planned next year. The list of invited speakers will also not be altered except if there is any cancellations. The abstracts that have been submitted will be saved for the next years. The authors can contact the organizing committee if they wish their abstract to be removed from the system. The registration forms will be reset for the next year. The conference website will NOT change. It will remain reachable via https://iwrf2020.ff.vu.lt.

In the light of the current events related to Corona virus (COVID-19) we would like to announce that the IWRF-2020 will proceed as planned. The organizing committee will follow the situation and act as the situation develops. At the moment, there is no plans to cancel the meeting.

We understand that it is difficult for the participants to plan their trips now. Thus, we are willing to extend the deadlines as much as possible. Thus, we shift the Abstract submission deadline to the 15th of May. Further shifts might be expected if the situation will be uncertain.
